Philip Tarplee has worked in Finance since the late 1980s and worked exclusively within the international life insurance sector since 1996.

Over that time Philip has worked directly and indirectly with insurers from the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey, Bahamas and Luxembourg.

Since 2010 Philip has operated a UK based consultancy business, IIII Ltd, which is directly regulated by the UK FCA. 

IIII Ltd has been contracted to Baloise since 2015.  In the context of ‘UK’ clients the working relationship is focused upon delivering services to Baloise existing partners across Europe and then creating new relationships in the UK.  Philip maintains that an understanding of the differences between the Civil Law and Common Law approach to insurance- based wealth planning can be essential in ensuring that robust solutions are constructed for clients (internationally mobile individuals and families) moving between Civil and Common Law jurisdictions.
