Mekouar

Rajaa Mekouar is the Head of PE for a prominent Luxembourg single family office and the CEO of the Luxembourg PEVC association, the LPEA.

Rajaa has 20 years of professional experience, first at Procter & Gamble and since 2002 in Private Equity as a GP and an LP. Her PE roles included deal team roles at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Lazard European Private Equity Partners and Change Capital Partners in London. 
Rajaa was also the founding director of Maera Capital, a boutique dedicated to co-investing with family offices and family-owned businesses including Bouygues- and Pinault-backed Serendipity Investments and Massena Partners. 
Most recently she was the Head of Syndicate at family-backed co-investment platform, Kharis Capital.

She is a graduate of HEC Grande Ecole in France and holds an MBA from INSEAD. She speaks French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic. 

Rajaa is a regular speaker at PE conferences, with a special focus on the role of Family Offices and direct / co-investments.
